Ingredients

  • Melted dalda - 1.5 cup
  • Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
  • Flour (Maida) - 3 cups
  • Soda 1 tsp
  • Fresh Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence for taste
  • How to Make Special Nankathai:

    1. Mix melted Dalda and powdered sugar to light buttery consistency.
    2. Add maida and mix well and leave it overnight for 6-8 hrs.
    3. Knead well to light consistency and mix soda and lemon juice together.
    4. Add vanilla essence, knead well and make round balls.
    5. Put them in a greased tray and bake in the oven for 15 mins at 400 degree F.
