Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Prawn.
  • 2 - medium size Onion.
  • 1 tbsp - Cumin seeds.
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander seeds.
  • 1.5 tbsp - Mustard seeds.
  • 2 tbsp- Vinegar.
  • 1 tbsp -Red Chilli powder.
  • 2 tbsp - Mustard oil.
  • 1/2 tbsp - Turmeric powder.
  • Salt.

How to Make

  • Peel and wash the prawns.
  • Grind cumin, coriander and mustard seeds together. Add the ground spices, oil, chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, vinegar on the prawns, mix it well and keep it aside for an hour.
  • In a wok, add 2 tbsp of mustard oil, fry the onions and then add prawns.
  • Cook it in a low heat and cover it till it is cooked. Have it with steamed rice.
