Ingredients

  • Idli rawa/Semolina - 3 cups
  • Urad Dal - 1 cup
  • How to Make Special Rava Idli:

    1. Soak semolina and urad dal separately for 5 hours.
    2. Grind the urad dal. Drain the water from the semolina.
    3. Mix urad dal and semolina.
    4. Add water to get a loose batter. Keep it overnight to let the batter rise.
    5. Next day, steam idlis in an idli maker and serve.
