Ingredients

  • 1 - Medium onion, grated
  • 1.5 inch - Cinnamon
  • 2 big - Cardamoms
  • 3-4 - Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp - White Pepper Powder
  • 150 g - Single Cream
  • 2 tbsp - Kasoori Methi
  • 150 g - Boiled Peas
  • 2 tbsp - Fresh Methi (chopped and boiled)
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tbsp - Ground Cashewnuts
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Spiced up methi malai mattar

  • Grind cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil and fry onion on medium heat till oil separates.
  • Add powdered masala, salt, and the white pepper powder.
  • Then add cream and the kasoori methi.
  • Mix well and add the boiled peas, boiled fresh methi, sugar, and cashewnut paste.
  • Simmer till it is thick.
  • Serve hot with parathas.
