Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup - baked beans
  • 1 - Capsicum chopped
  • 1 - Spring onion with greens chopped
  • 1 - Celery stick chopped
  • 1 - Tomato chopped
  • 1 slice - bread toasted and broken to bits
  • 1 tbsp - Tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli Garlic sauce
  • 1/2 cup - boiled Rice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp - Butter or oil
  • 3 cups - water or vegetable stock

How to Make Spicy Bean Soup

  • Heat butter, add capsicum, spring onion, celery, and stir-fry till tender.
  • Add beans, tomato, stir for a minute or two.
  • Add puree, stir for a further 3-4 mins.
  • Add stock. Bring to a boil.
  • Add rice. Simmer for 10-12 mins.
  • Add bread pieces, sauces, salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot.
