  • 250 g - tender fresh Corn kernels
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 1 inch - Ginger piece
  • 5 - Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tbsps - soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp - Red Chillies chopped and ground with Ginger and Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 pinch - ajinomoto
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • How to Make Spicy Corn Curry:

    1. Cook the corn nibblets in salt till soft. Drain and keep aside.
    2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
    3. Once they start spluttering, add the chilli paste to it and let it fry for a few seconds.
    4. Add the corn and cook on high heat for a minute or two stirring constantly.
    5. Add red chilli powder, salt, sugar, soy sauce, ajinomoto and fry for 1/2 minute more on medium heat.
    6. Garnish with finely chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
