  • 250 g - tender fresh corn kernels
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 1 inch - ginger piece
  • 5 - garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsps - soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp - red chillies chopped and ground with ginger and garlic
  • 1/4 tsp - sugar
  • 1 pinch - ajinomoto
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder

How to Make Spicy Corn Curry

  • Cook the corn nibblets in salt till soft. Drain and keep aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
  • Once they start spluttering, add the chilli paste to it and let it fry for a few seconds.
  • Add the corn and cook on high heat for a minute or two stirring constantly.
  • Add red chilli powder, salt, sugar, soy sauce, ajinomoto and fry for 1/2 minute more on medium heat.
  • Garnish with finely chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
