How to Make Spicy Yam Finger Chips

  • Wash and peel the yam. Cut them into fingers, about 1.5 cm thick.
  • Boil in water till soft but not mushy. Drain well.
  • Grind remaining ingredients except the oil to a paste.
  • Toss yam fingers in this mixture and keep covered for 15-30 minutes.
  • Deep fry the fingers in batches in hot oil till golden brown.
  • Drain on kitchen paper and serve hot.
