Ingredients

  • 200 g - Cottage cheese/paneer, cut into medium sized pieces
  • 2 cups - Chopped, spinach
  • 2 - Onions, chopped
  • 2 -Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 - Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 - Bay leaves
  • 2 tsp - Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Spinach And Cottage Cheese-Paneer

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the cottage cheese on a low flame until light brown. Keep it aside.
  • In the same oil, saute the bay leaves, onions and green chillies until golden.
  • Now add the tomatoes, ginger and garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala and fry well.
  • Then add the spinach and cottage cheese/paneer and mix well.
  • Add a little water and simmer for about 5-6 mins.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice or rotis/chapattis.
