Ingredients

  • Maida 1.5cup
  • Egg 4
  • Oil (any Corn oil or sunflower oil) 2 cup
  • Sugar 2cup
  • Yoghurt 1cup
  • Essence(any) 1 tsp
  • Baking powder 4tsp

How to Make Sponge Cake

  • Take a bowl; beat the eggs with a beater. Beat it till it become double the quantity.
  • Add sugar, yoghurt, oil & beat it again. Till it mix well. A
  • Add essence, baking powder & maida & mix it well till all the mixture turns to be thick without any lumps in between.
  • Preheat the Gas oven for 15minutes at 190 degree Celsius.
  • Take cake pan spread ghee all over the pan evenly & put some maida powder on it & try to spread it evenly all over the pan & throw the extra maida powder.
  • Now pour the cake mixture on the pan & keep it in the gas oven for 40minutes.
  • Turn off the gas after 40minutes & let it be inside the oven more 10minutes & cool.
  • Then take it out; decorate as per your wish and serve it to your friends and family.
