How to Make Spooky Cobweb Cookies for Kids

  • In a big bowl, beat all the ingredients, except powdered sugar, with an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle with a narrow opening.
  • Heat an 8-inch skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
  • Squeeze the batter to form 4 straight, thin lines that intersect at a common centre point to form a star shape.
  • To form a cobweb, squeeze thin streams of the batter to connect all the straight lines.
  • Cook the cobweb cookies until golden brown, turning them carefully.
  • Remove from the skillet gently and allow them to cool on a wire rack.
  • Heat an oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Bake the cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet for 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from the cookie sheet and allow them to cool.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar on the cookies.
