  • 1/4 cup - vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup - Milk
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla
  • A little powdered Sugar

  • How to Make Spooky Cobweb Cookies for Kids:

    1. In a big bowl, beat all the ingredients, except powdered sugar, with an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.
    2. Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle with a narrow opening.
    3. Heat an 8-inch skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
    4. Squeeze the batter to form 4 straight, thin lines that intersect at a common centre point to form a star shape.
    5. To form a cobweb, squeeze thin streams of the batter to connect all the straight lines.
    6. Cook the cobweb cookies until golden brown, turning them carefully.
    7. Remove from the skillet gently and allow them to cool on a wire rack.
    8. Heat an oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
    9. Bake the cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet for 5-7 minutes.
    10. Remove from the cookie sheet and allow them to cool.
    11. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the cookies.
    12. Store in an airtight container, separating each layer with parchment paper.
