Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 3 - Cloves
  • 3 - Cardamoms
  • 1 stick - Cinnamon
  • 1 bunch - Spring onions
  • 2 tbsp - Tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1.25 cup - cooked and cooled Rice
  • How to Make Spring Onion and Tomato Puree Fried Rice:

    1. Wash and clean spring onions. Chop it finely and keep it aside.
    2. Heat oil in a frying pan. Reduce the heat to medium and fry the cardamoms, cloves and cinnamon stick for 2 minutes.
    3. Add chopped spring onion and fry it until it is golden in color.
    4. Add tomato puree and pepper powder to it.
    5. Mix it well until it is well blended with spring onions.
    6. Add cooked and cooled rice and salt to it.
    7. Stir all the ingredients well. Cover it with a lid and cook on low to medium heat for 10 minutes or until each rice grain is well coated with tomato puree and other ingredients.
