  • 1/2 Kg- Prawns
  • 0.25 oz Garlic
  • 0.25 tsp Turmeric
  • few sprigs Curry leaves
  • 1.75 tsp of salt
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 2 Cloves
  • 125 gms- Onions
  • 2 dessert spoons green chillies, ground coarsely
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1ts-p Lime juice
  • 2 dessert spoon- oil
  • 2 Cardamoms
  • How to Make Srilankan Dish:

    1. Wash and de-vein the prawns well. Slice onions evenly, chop garlic fine, cut bay leaves into pieces. Heat the oil and when very hot add curry leaves and bay leaves.
    2. Add the onions. Toss till onions turn light brown.
    3. Add rest of the ingredients till prawns are well cooked and hard.
    4. Serve hot. This can be kept for a few days too, but warm before serving to enjoy its spicy flavour.
