Ingredients

  • 4 - Apples
  • 1 - Small onion
  • 2 - Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam masala
  • 1 or 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - Oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • A handful of cilantro
  • Salt

How to Make Sweet and spicy apple curry

  • Peel, core and cut apples into cubes.
  • Chop onion and tomatoes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, apples, onions, tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, lemon juice and mix well.
  • Pour a little water to cook apples. Add salt and mix well.
  • Cover and leave the pan on medium flame for some time until most of the water gets absorbed and apples become tender.
  • Finally stir the contents well, garnish with cilantro and serve with chapattis.
