Ingredients

  • 1 kg - beaten rice (fawwa) (clean and soak)
  • 1 - coconut tender (grate and scrape)
  • 400 gms - jaggery (grate and scrape)
  • 6 - plantains (yellow, ripe and cut)
  • 1 tsp - cardamom powder (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp - ghee

How to Make Sweet Beaten Rice

  • After cleaning the beaten rice, soak it in the water of the tender coconut.
  • Scrape the jaggery in thin flakes and mix well with the scrapings of the kernel of the tender coconut.
  • Cut the ripe plantains into small bits and mash them with the beaten rice and garnish it with the cardamom powder.
