Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • For kneading - warm water as required
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 cup - Channa dal halwa
  • How to Make Sweet Channa Dal Paratha:

    1. Take the wheat flour and salt in a large bowl, add the warm water slowly and knead into a soft dough.
    2. Keep side for an hour.
    3. Make 6-7 small balls from the channa dal halwa and keep aside.
    4. Make 6-7 medium sized balls from the prepared wheat dough.
    5. Roll one out into a medium sized circle, place a small ball of channa dal halwa inside the circle and fold the dough over it.
    6. Dust this with some flour and roll out gently into medium sized parathas.
    7. Heat a non-stick pan and once it is hot, place the paratha on it and cook both sides.
    8. Repeat the process with the remaining dough.
