  • 200 g - seedless dates
  • 100 g - tamarind
  • 100 g - jaggery
  • 2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin seed powder
  • salt to taste

How to Make Sweet Date Chutney

  • Pressure cook the dates, tamarind, jaggery and water on a medium flame till 3 whistles.
  • Cool completely. Squeeze out the pulp.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder and cumin seed powder.
  • Mix well. Refrigerate in an airtight container.
