  • 300g - Mawa or khoya
  • 3-4 tbsp - All purpose flour (Maida)
  • Sugar to make syrup
  • Water
  • Kesar
  • Elachi
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Sweet Gulab-Jamun

  • Make a soft dough of maida and khoya.
  • Take small pieces of the dough and roll it into small balls.
  • Heat the oil in a pan on low, add in the maida balls one by one.
  • After 5 min the balls will rise up.
  • The balls must be fried on a balanced temperature.
  • When it browns on both sides, take it out of the pan and put it into the sugar syrup (mixture of water and sugar) for 30 min approx.
  • Serve warm
