  • 3 or 4 - Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1 tsp - sambar powder
  • Coriander leaves, a handful
  • 1 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Sweet potato paratha with Sambar powder:

    1. Wash and cook the sweet potatoes. Peel off the skin and mash them well.
    2. Add chopped coriander leaves, salt and sambhar powder.
    3. Add wheat flour and knead to soft dough with a tbsp of olive oil.
    4. No need to add water as sweet potato has water.
    5. Keep the dough covered and set aside for 20-30 mins.
    6. Take lemon sized ball out of dough, flatten it and roll into paratha.
    7. Heat a tawa and cook the paratha to golden. Drizzle a tsp of butter, flip to both sides.
    8. Serve hot with any gravy or raitha.
