Ingredients

  • For poories:
  • 1 cup grated white pumpkin
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 pinch cooking soda
  • Milk required for dough
  • For syrup:
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • few drops of rose essence
  • For garnish:
  • 1 tsp chopped Badam
  • 1 tsp chopped cashew

How to Make Sweet pumpkin poori

  • Mix all the ingredients for puris and make a dough.
  • Keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
  • Meanwhile, prepare sugar syrup on a low flame.
  • Roll out puris and deep fry them. Then add them to the syrup.
  • Keep the puris in the syrup till it soaks well.
  • Remove and garnish with chopped badam, pista and cashew.
