Ingredients

  • For poories:
  • 1 cup grated white pumpkin
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 pinch cooking soda
  • Milk required for dough
  • For syrup:
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • few drops of rose essence
  • For garnish:
  • 1 tsp chopped Badam
  • 1 tsp chopped cashew
  • How to Make Sweet pumpkin poori:

    1. Mix all the ingredients for puris and make a dough.
    2. Keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
    3. Meanwhile, prepare sugar syrup on a low flame.
    4. Roll out puris and deep fry them. Then add them to the syrup.
    5. Keep the puris in the syrup till it soaks well.
    6. Remove and garnish with chopped badam, pista and cashew.
