Ingredients

  • 2 cups - gram flour (besan)
  • 1 cup - whole Wheat flour (atta)
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds, coarsely ground
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp - small pieces of Green chilli (only skin)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Taktaki roti (Gramflour roti):

    1. Mix all ingredients with 2 tbsp. oil and enough water to make a stiff dough.
    2. Make into lemon-sized balls.
    3. Roll out each on a floured board and cook on a greased griddle till crisp and golden.
    4. Serve with ghee.
