How to Make Tamil Nadu Crab Masala

  • Add oil to a pan.
  • After one minute, add the onions and saute until they turn red.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli and curry leaves.
  • Stir well for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add tomato, gravy powder, coriander leaves, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add ground coconut and mix it well. Now add crab, pour required water and let the gravy boil for some time. Then add drumstick leaves and pepper. Mix it well and cook for 15 min in low flame.
  • Note: The ratio in the gravy powder is two teaspoon of coriander powder to one teaspoon of chilli powder.
