Ingredients

  • Roasted ground nuts - 1/2 cup
  • Dry red chillies, de-seeded - 5 to 6
  • Garlic - 6 flakes
  • Tamarind ball, size of half a Lemon
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Tangy Groundnut Chutney

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add dry chillies and fry till fragrant. Drain and reserve.
  • In the same pan, saute garlic flakes till light brown.
  • Cool and grind with roasted peanuts, tamarind and salt.
  • Serve with idli or dosa.
