How to Make Tangy Mango Chutney

  • Finely chop onion, ginger and garlic and mix well with grated mango.
  • Add 250 ml water and cook the above mixture till the mango softens.
  • Add sugar and continue cooking until mixture is sufficiently thick.
  • Add garam masala and red chilli powder
  • Add salt and correct the seasoning.
  • Cook for a further 5 mins.
  • Remove from heat and add acetic acid.
  • Allow to cool before bottling.
