How to Make Tasty Lemon Rice

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
  • Add the Bengal gram dal, curry leaves and dry chillies.
  • Now add the onion and saute them.
  • Add turmeric and asafoetida.
  • Add salt and lemon juice.
  • Garnish with roasted ground nuts and cashewnuts.
  • Mix with rice and serve.
