Ingredients

  • Kidney beans - 2 cups
  • Ginger - 10 g
  • Garlic - 10 flakes
  • Refined oil - 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes - 3
  • Onions - 2
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Tasty Rajma:

    1. Grind ginger and garlic into a paste.
    2. Heat oil in a cooker, add two red chillies. Then add onions and fry till golden brown.
    3. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute for a few seconds. Then add tomatoes and stir till it becomes soft.
    4. Add chilli powder and salt.
    5. When the oil separates, add beans and 4 cups of water and stir.
    6. Close the cooker, bring it to full pressure on high heat.
    7. Reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes.
    8. Remove the cooker from heat and allow it to cool.
    9. Partially mash beans with back of a ladle, till the gravy is creamy.
    10. Add garam masala powder and stir.
    11. Serve hot.
