  • 250 g - Maida
  • 4 - eggs
  • 250 g - Butter
  • 250 g - Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1 tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp - Baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Tea Cake:

    1. Sift the maida with the baking powder and add salt to it.
    2. Beat the eggs one by one till light and frothy.
    3. Now, cream the butter with the sugar powder and add the eggs. Mix it well.
    4. Then, fold in the maida alternatively with the milk. Dribble in the essence.
    5. Mix it and pour it into the baking dish.
    6. Pre-heat the oven.
    7. Bake the cake at 180 to 200 degrees. It may take around half an hour.
    8. Switch off when the top browns.
    9. The cake is ready to eat.
