Ingredients

  • 1 cup - rice
  • 1 - whole garlic (separate and peel off skin)
  • 1 tsp - fenugreek seeds (methi)
  • 1/2 cup - coconut milk
  • salt to taste
  • 4 cups - water

How to Make Thengapaal Kanji

  • In a pressure cooker add rice, garlic, methi, salt and cook it for 4 whistles.
  • Mash the cooked rice and add coconut milk.
  • Add to a pan and cook for 3 mins.
  • Hot milk kanji is ready to eat with lemon pickle.
