Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Rice
  • 1 - whole Garlic (separate and peel off skin)
  • 1 tsp - Fenugreek seeds (methi)
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut Milk
  • salt to taste
  • 4 cups - water
  • How to Make Thengapaal Kanji:

    1. In a pressure cooker add rice, garlic, methi, salt and cook it for 4 whistles.
    2. Mash the cooked rice and add coconut milk.
    3. Add to a pan and cook for 3 mins.
    4. Hot milk kanji is ready to eat with lemon pickle.
