Ingredients

  • 1 kg. minced cooked fish
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 100 gms. red curry paste
  • 2 Lemon grass leaves, finely sliced
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 200 gms. finely chopped green string beans
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

How to Make Thod Man Pla ( Fish Cake)

  • Sprinkle fish with salt and finely chop.
  • Combine curry paste, eggs and fish sauce and mix well.
  • Fold in green beans and lemon leaves.
  • Dip your hands in water and shape the fish mixture into balls.
  • Flatten each into a circle.
  • Heat some oil and deep fry until the fish cake is golden brown and fluffy.
  • Serve with cucumber salad.
