How to Make Tomato Morkootan

  • Cut tomatoes into medium sized pieces. Cook with haldi and salt for 1-2 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, grind coconut, green chilli and raw rice with 1 tbsp of curd and a little water to make a fine paste.
  • Add this paste to the tomatoes and cook till the raw smell disappears.
  • Once cooked, add beaten curd and keep the flame in simmer for 2 mins.
  • Do not bring this to boil.
  • Switch off the stove and add tadka and curry leaves.
