Grind tomato and ginger to a paste. Cut the onions into fine pieces.
Make a paste of besan and mix it with tomato and ginger paste. Add chilli, coriander and half of the chopped onion to it.
Add salt, red chilli powder and ajwain seeds and mix it well.
Heat a non-stick pan and apply some oil (around 1/2 tsp for each) to it. Pour around 2 serving spoon paste on the pan, spread it evenly and spread some onions on top of it. Now let it cook and after 3-4 mins change the side. After cooking for another 2 mins it is ready to serve.
Serve it with butter, ketchup and tasty salt (optional). Goes great as sandwich stuffing also.
