Ingredients

  • 1 tsp - Finely chopped Ginger
  • 2 - Green chillies cut it into halves
  • 3/4 - Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 - Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • A few Coriander leaves
  • 2 tsp - Oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • One handful - Grated Coconut (Optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Tomato-Onion sabji:

    1. Take a microwave-safe vessel.
    2. Put the ginger, onion, coriander leaves, oil, green chilli and mix it well.
    3. Microwave this on high for 5 mins with the lid closed.
    4. Then add tomatoes, chilli powder and salt. Microwave it on high for another 4 mins with the lid closed.
    5. Add coconut (optional) and microwave it on high for 2 mins.
    6. Use as side dish for dosas, chapattis, parathas etc.
