Ingredients

  • 4 - large tomatoes, chopped finely
  • 4 - green chillies, chopped
  • 2 - large onions, sliced finely
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 2 tbsp - oil

How to Make Tomato Sambal

  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions till golden brown.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, chillies, salt, pepper and lime juice.
  • Simmer on low heat till the tomatoes are cooked to a pulp and all the water dries up.
  • Serve with rice, chapattis, etc.
