Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Tomato
  • 1 - Coconut (grated)
  • 1.5 cups - Sugar
  • How to Make Tomato vadi:

    1. Boil tomatoes in water for 10-15 minutes.
    2. Remove and grind it in mixie without water.
    3. Filter it and separate the pulp and the juice.
    4. Keep pulp aside and take only juice.
    5. Heat juice on a low flame, stirring it continuously.
    6. As it starts becoming thick, add coconut, sugar and again stir it, till it becomes thick and leaves the sides.
    7. Grease a big plate with ghee, spread mixture over it and make diamond shapes on it.
    8. Cool it for 1-2 hours.
