How to Make

  • Cut brinjals into four pieces and put in salt water.
  • Wash rice and soak.
  • Heat oil in pressure pan.
  • Add cumin, onions, saute and add brinjals, salt, turmeric powder, green chillies.
  • Fry till brinjals become a bit soft.
  • Add garam masala, chilli powder.
  • Add rice and fry for further 2 mins.
  • Add 3 cups of water and close lid. After two whistles put off the flame.
  • Serve.
