Ingredients

  • 5 preserved Plums
  • 3 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 5 fresh chillies, chopped
  • 1 cup soft Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp warm water
  • How to Make Tri-Flavoured Sauce:

    1. Take the plums and chop roughly. Mix water and vinegar in a pan.
    2. Heat and add plums, simmering them till mushy.
    3. Add more water if required for cooking plums.
    4. Add sugar, cook till boiling resumes and sugar has melted completely.
    5. Add chillies and take off the fire.
    6. Cool or serve immediately.
    7. If a smooth consistency is desired, blend cooled mixture in a grinder.
