Ingredients

  • 1 cup - condensed Milk
  • 1 cup - Coconut Milk (thick)
  • 2 - Egg yolks
  • 1 cup - Cream
  • 1 tbsp - gelatine
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • A few drops of edible Orange colour
  • 1 - medium-sized mango, diced

How to Make Tropical Freeze

  • Set the refrigerator control at coldest.
  • In a bowl, soak gelatine in 2 tbsp water for 5 mins.
  • Place the bowl in a shallow pan containing hot water.
  • Stir gelatine till it dissolves.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk cream till thick and fluffy.
  • Whisk in condensed milk, egg yolk, gelatine, coconut milk and vanilla essence.
  • Add colour.
  • Freeze in ice-trays, until almost firm.
  • Remove from freezer.
  • Beat well and freeze again until firm.
  • Serve garnished with mango pieces.
