Ingredients

  • 2 cups - tur dal
  • 6-7 green chillies, chopped
  • 3 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 pinch asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • 3tbsp - finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 3-4 tbsp grated coconut

How to Make Tur Dal Kofta

  • Soak tuvar dal over night. Then wash it thoroughly. Grind it coarsely.
  • Then add chopped chillies, coriander leaves, grated coconut, cumin seeds, asafoetida and salt mix it thoroughly.
  • Then make small koftas (balls) and deep-fry.
  • Serve hot with rice dishes.
