  • 2 cups - tur dal
  • 6-7 green chillies, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • 3tbsp - finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • 3-4 tbsp grated Coconut
  • How to Make Tur Dal Kofta:

    1. Soak tuvar dal over night. Then wash it thoroughly. Grind it coarsely.
    2. Then add chopped chillies, coriander leaves, grated coconut, cumin seeds, asafoetida and salt mix it thoroughly.
    3. Then make small koftas (balls) and deep-fry.
    4. Serve hot with rice dishes.
