Ingredients

  • 1 litre - full Cream Milk
  • 2.5 tsp - Corn flour
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1 cup - fresh Cream
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - cold Milk
  • 1/4 cup - tutti-frutti pieces
  • 3 to 4 drops - Orange colour
  • How to Make Tutti-Frutti Ice-cream:

    1. Bring milk to a boil. Boil for 15 mins on low, stirring occasionally.
    2. Add orange colour soon after the milk has been boiled.
    3. Mix corn flour in 1/2 a cup cold milk and keep aside.
    4. Add sugar to the milk and stir.
    5. Add corn flour paste, stirring continuously, till boiling resumes.
    6. Boil for a further 4-5 mins and take off fire.
    7. Cool to room temperature and freeze in a covered tray, till set but not hard.
    8. Break into pieces and beat with an egg beater till soft.
    9. Add tutti-frutti pieces while folding in the cream.
    10. Add cream and essence and mix well.
    11. The texture should be light and creamy.
    12. Reset in the freezer till frozen.
