Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Full cream
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1 cup - Castor sugar
  • 1/4 cup - Strawberries (chopped)
  • 2 tsp - Gelatine (Agar-Agar powder/flakes, for core-vegetarian)
  • Food colouring -few drops
  • 1 tbsp - Water.

How to Make Valentine Jello

  • Combine 1/4 cup full cream, 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup sugar in a pan. Let it boil for 4-5 mins on medium-heat.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Mix the gelatine with water and add it to the cream mixture along with 2-3 drops of red food colour.
  • Mix well and transfer it to a greased pan to make 1/2 inch thick sheet.
  • Cool to room temperature and set it in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
  • Cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter. Arrange these heart shaped jellos in a big greased plate.
  • Mix rest of full cream, milk, sugar in a pan again and boil it.
  • Turn off the heat and add finely chopped strawberries to it.
  • Mix the gelatine with water and add it to cream mixture.
  • Transfer the prepared mix in the pan with the heart jellos.
  • Keep it in the freezer to set for 4-5 hours.
  • Cut into square pieces with 1 heart in centre of each piece and serve chilled.
