Ingredients

  • 25 red chillies (discard stalks)
  • 1 cup - grated copra(desiccated coconut)
  • 1/2 cup - coriander seeds
  • 2 tbsp - cumin seeds
  • 8 each cloves and cardamom
  • 1 tsp - shah jeera
  • 1/2 nutmeg
  • 2 tsp - turmeric powder

How to Make Vangi Bhath Masala

  • Roast all the ingredients with very little oil.
  • Cool and grind to a coarse powder.
  • Mix in the turmeric powder.
  • Store in air tight bottle in the refrigerator.
