  • 1.5 cup - maida
  • 1 cup - powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup - butter milk
  • 1/2 cup - refined oil
  • 3 tbsp - cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp -baking soda
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • Dry fruits - 1/4 cup

How to Make Vanilla flavored buttermilk cake

  • Sieve maida, cocoa and baking powder at least thrice.
  • Mix baking soda in buttermilk and keep it aside.
  • Dissolve the powdered sugar in the oil.
  • Now mix the sieved mixture and buttermilk alternatively to the oil and sugar mixture. Beat it well.
  • Add vanilla essence and mix again.
  • Transfer this mixture into a pre-greased cake pan and bake it in pre-heated oven at 350 C for about 35 to 40 minutes.
