Ingredients

  • 3 cups - assorted fruit such as mango, pineApple, Pear and Apple chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - water

How to Make Vanilla Stewed Fruit

  • Place all the above ingredients in a suitable pan.
  • Simmer on low heat for about 25-30 mins till the fruit softens.
  • Take down and cool.
  • Transfer to a glass dish and leave in the refrigerator.
  • Just before serving, add a layer of fresh cream on top.
  • Garnish with chopped cherries and nuts.
