Ingredients

  • 3 - wadis
  • 4 - potatoes
  • 2 - brinjals
  • 3 - tomatoes
  • 2 - onions
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1.5 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves - few sprigs
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Water as required
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Varyoon Patata

  • Heat oil in a thick bottom pan. Fry onions until brown, add in wadis and fry well.
  • Add potatoes and saute, add tomatoes, brinjals and all dry masalas.
  • Fry until well done.
  • Now add water enough for the gravy and salt.
  • Cover and cook the vegetable until wadis and potatoes are well done. Check for salt.
  • Serve garnished with chopped coriander.
