Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 1
  • Peas - 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes - 1, chopped
  • Green chilli - 1, chopped
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Lime juice - 1 tsp
  • Plain flour - 1 cup
  • Oil
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Onion -1
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Veg Rolls

  • Pressure cook potato and peas.
  • Wash and cut tomato and onion in thin slices.
  • Make a dough with plain flour, using little oil and a pinch of salt. Keep aside.
  • In a kadai, fry onion till it turns brown.
  • Add tomato and fry for few minutes.
  • Mash potato and peas, add it to the onion-tomato mix.
  • Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, chilli paste, jeera, lime juice and mix well.
  • Make roti using the dough and put a 2 tsp of the mixture, vertically, in the middle.
  • Roll and close both ends.
  • Cut into 3 inch pieces.
  • Deep-fry in oil for few minutes.
  • Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
