Ingredients

  • 1 packet - macaroni
  • 1 cup - finely sliced Onion
  • 2 - Tomato
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 2 - dry Red Chillies
  • a pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1 tsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • oil to fry
  • How to Make Vegetable Macaroni:

    1. Boil the macaroni and keep it aside.
    2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai. Add the mustard seeds and allow to splutter. Add the raw chillies and the onions. Saute the onions.
    3. Put the tomatoes in boiling water for 10 mins. Peel off the skin and cut them into fine pieces and add them to the sauteed onions.
    4. Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt and the boiled macaroni. Cook for 5-10 mins.
    5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
