Ingredients

  • 1 packet mixed vegetable soup
  • 1/2 cup basic white sauce
  • 1 tbsp each carrot, cabbage, Cauliflower and beans
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • How to Make Vegetable Soup Chowder:

    1. Add enough water to dissolve contents of one packet of mixed vegetable soup and keep aside.
    2. Chop 1 tbsp each of carrot, cabbage, cauliflower and beans.
    3. Stir fry them in 1 tsp olive oil.
    4. Add contents of soup, stirring continuously.
    5. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 mins.
    6. Grate 2 tbsp cooking or processed cheese into soup.
    7. Stir in white sauce and mix gently till all flavours are well blended.
    8. Switch off just before boiling resumes, add salt and pepper as desired and serve piping hot.
