Ingredients

  • For the Pie Crust:
  • Maida- 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter- 1 tsp
  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Water- as needed
  • For the Filling:
  • Corn kernels- 1 cup
  • Carrot- 1
  • Capsicum- 1
  • Tomato- 1
  • Oregano- 1/2 tsp
  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Milk- 1/2 cup
  • Fresh cream- 1/4 cup
  • Black pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Vegetable Tart

  • First make the pie crust. For that, in a bowl add maida, salt, butter and oil.
  • Add water to form a soft dough.
  • Make 2 balls and roll it with the help of a rolling pin.
  • It should be like a thin roti. Place it on a pie mould.
  • Pre heat oven at 190 degreee celcius.
  • In a pan add oil followed by corn kernels, carrot, capsicum and tomato.
  • Once cooked add milk, fresh cream and black pepper powder.
  • Add salt and oregano. Mix well.
  • Once cooled, place it in the pie mould over the prepared pie crust.
  • Place it in the oven and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  • Once a light brown crust is formed, take it out and serve hot.
  • Repeat with the other dough.
  • Enjoy as an evening snack.
