Ingredients

  • 2 cup Rice
  • 1/2 kg Jaggery
  • gram dal
  • Cardamoms
  • coconut- scraped
  • salt to taste.
  • How to Make Vennaipoottu:

    1. Soak rice in water for 2 hours and grind it to a paste.
    2. Cook rice with water, jaggery, gram dal, cardamom, and salt.
    3. Take plate and apply ghee to it. Pour the paste on that plate.
    4. Add scraped coconut on the top.
    5. Cool and serve it.
