Ingredients

  • 100 g - vermicelli
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 2 cups - Curd
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • salt
  • 2 tsp - Chana dal
  • 2 tsp - Urad Dal
  • Pepper
  • Hing
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp - Methi seeds
  • Oil for tadka
  • How to Make Vermicelli Daddojanam:

    1. Dry roast vermicelli and cook in 2 cups of water. Drain and keep aside. Add curd, salt and haldi.
    2. For tadka, take 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, put urad dal, red chillies, channa dal, mustard seeds, methi seeds, hing, curry leaves, pepper corns, and fry for a little while.
    3. Add green chillies, ginger and fry.
    4. Add tadka to curd and vermicelli mixture.
    5. Mix well and add coriander leaves for garnishing.
    6. This daddojanam is good for prasadam as well as for fasting.
