  • 500 g - vermicelli
  • 250 g - Butter
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 kg - Sugar powdered
  • 1 Coconut grated and ground to a fine paste
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • How to Make Vermicelli Pudding:

    1. Roast the vermicelli lightly with a tsp of ghee.
    2. Cream the butter and sugar together.
    3. Add the eggs.
    4. Mix in the coconut paste, vermicelli, vanilla essence, salt and milk and mix well.
    5. Grease a baking dish and pour in the mixture.
    6. Bake in a moderately hot oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    7. Serve hot or cold. This pudding can also be steamed in a cooker instead of baking it.
