Ingredients

  • 500 g - vermicelli
  • 250 g - Butter
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 kg - Sugar powdered
  • 1 Coconut grated and ground to a fine paste
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - Milk

How to Make Vermicelli Pudding

  • Roast the vermicelli lightly with a tsp of ghee.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together.
  • Add the eggs.
  • Mix in the coconut paste, vermicelli, vanilla essence, salt and milk and mix well.
  • Grease a baking dish and pour in the mixture.
  • Bake in a moderately hot oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Serve hot or cold. This pudding can also be steamed in a cooker instead of baking it.
